The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the host Landstown Eagles (Virginia Beach, VA), observed Western Branch's softball team get by Landstown by a tally of 9-3.

The Bruins (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last outing, Greenbrier Christian Academy got by Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA), 11-0, in a league outing.
