March 28, 2025: Point Pleasant, NJ 08742 The Point Pleasant Boro Panthers softball squad scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Manalapan Braves to 0 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Point Pleasant Boro upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Panthers host Central Regional (Bayville, NJ) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Golden Eagles enter the game with a record of 1-0. Central Regional won 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ)
The Braves now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Henry Hudson for a non-league game on Monday, March 31. Manalapan will play a Admirals squad coming off a 17-7 non-league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Admirals record now stands at 1-1.
