The Monroe Central Seminoles softball squad (Woodsfield, OH), was routed 16-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Meadowbrook Colts (Byesville, OH)

With the triumph, Meadowbrook improves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Colts travel to West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH) to face the Tornadoes in a Muskingum Valley contest on Monday, March 31. The Tornadoes enter the contest with a record of 3-2. West Muskingum won 14-4 in their recent non-league contest against Fairfield Union (Lancaster, OH)

The Seminoles now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cameron for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. Monroe Central will face a Dragons squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Madonna (Weirton, WV). The Dragons record now stands at 1-2.
