The South Tahoe Vikings baseball squad (South Lake Tahoe, CA), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Saturday's league contest with the visiting Elko Indians (Elko, NV)

With the triumph, Elko moves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Indians host Truckee (Truckee, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a 3A Northern battle on Friday, April 3. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 8-7. Truckee won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Sparks (Sparks, NV)

The Vikings now possess a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fernley for a 3A Northern contest on Friday, April 3. South Tahoe will confront a Vaqueros squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Vaqueros record now stands at 12-5.
