In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting George County Rebels baseball team scored a close 4-0 victory over the Petal Panthers.

The Rebels (15-7) will now prepare for their game against West Jones (Laurel, MS). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region 3 game with a 10-8 record. In their last game, West Jones was overwhelmed by Brandon (Brandon, MS), 4-2, in a non-league game.
