The Firth Cougars (Firth, ID) softball the host Snake River Panthers (Blackfoot, ID), 7-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Declo for a non-league outing on Monday, March 30. Firth will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 14-8 league loss to Malad (Malad, ID). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Snake River drops to 1-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Preston (Preston, ID) to clash with the Indians in a 4A South East Idaho test on Wednesday, April 1.
