The Poly Parrots softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 2 in the Parrots non-league win on Saturday.

The Parrots now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muir for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 28. Poly will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 15-11 non-league loss to La Canada (La Canada, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 4-10 on the season. The Rough riders host Huntington Park (Huntington Park, CA) to meet the Spartans in a Eastern challenge on Monday, April 6. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Huntington Park lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA)
