South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA), 12-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Fayette upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions host Trinity (Washington, PA) to battle the Hillers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 30. The Hillers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Trinity won 10-7 in their recent non-league test against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the defeat, West Mifflin falls to 1-2 on the season. The Titans host Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA) to battle the Mustangs in a WPIAL 5A 3 test on Tuesday, March 30. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
