March 29, 2021: Kernersville, NC 27284 Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC), 11-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Villains confront the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) in a Northwest 1A challenge, on Monday, April 5. Bishop McGuinness will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 1-0 league win over East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC).
The Granite Bears now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Stokes for a Northwest 1A challenge on Wednesday, March 31. Mount Airy will confront a Sauras team coming off a 8-0 league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Sauras record now stands at 2-1.
