Georgia High School Soccer - Thomson knocks off Jefferson County
March 29, 2022: Louisville, GA 30434 Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Wednesday, March 30. Thomson will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Musketeers enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 7-0 league win over Harlem (Harlem, GA).
The Warriors now have a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam County for a AA Region 4 test on Thursday, March 31. Jefferson County will meet a War Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Westside (Augusta, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
