Winter Springs Bears (Winter Springs, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Viera for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. Winter Springs will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Heritage (Palm Bay, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Forest falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lake Weir (Ocala, FL) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 1-12. Lake Weir lost 19-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Buchholz (Gainesville, FL)
