South Carolina High School Soccer - Academic Magnet nudges Porter-Gaud
March 29, 2023: North Charleston, SC 29405 Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raptors face the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 30. Academic Magnet will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC).
The Cyclones now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pinewood Prep for a challenge on Monday, April 17. Porter-Gaud will face a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to First Baptist School (Charleston, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
