March 29, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85323 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) and the host Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ), witnessed Poston Butte's softball squad prevail over Agua Fria by a count of 24-5.
The Broncos now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thunderbird for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 12. Poston Butte will face a Titans squad coming off a 16-0 league loss to Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Agua Fria moves to 0-4 on the season. The Owls host Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ) to face the Skyhawks in a match on Thursday, March 30. The Skyhawks go into the match with a record of 0-1. Deer Valley lost 25-12 in their recent non-league match against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ)
