March 29, 2023: Alexandria, VA 22315 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) and the host Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA), saw Yorktown's soccer squad knock off Hayfield by a count of 2-0.
The Patriots now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chantilly for a non-league test on Friday, March 31. Yorktown will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Hayfield drops to 3-1 on the season. The Hawks travel to Justice (Falls Church, VA) to meet the Wolves in a National test on Tuesday, April 11. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-4. Justice 4-4 in their recent non-league test against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
