March 29, 2024: Tillamook, OR 97141 Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR), 17-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Tillamook upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Cheesemakers host Astoria (Astoria, OR) to battle the Fishermen in a 4A Cowapa test on Tuesday, April 2. The Fishermen come into the test with a record of 4-6. Astoria lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Stayton (Stayton, OR)
With the defeat, Neah-Kah-Nie falls to 1-5 on the season. The Pirates travel to Horizon Christian (Tualatin, OR) to battle the Hawks in a 3A-SD1 Special District 1 test on Tuesday, April 2. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-3. Horizon Christian lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Polytechnic (Pasadena, CA)
