Illinois High School Volleyball - Proviso East over Islamic Foundation
March 29, 2024: Maywood, IL 60153 Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Maine West Warriors (Des Plaines, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 30. Proviso East will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
With the loss, Islamic Foundation drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Chargers host College Prep of America (Lombard, IL) to clash with the Thunder in a Metro Prep match on Monday, April 15. The Thunder come into the match with a record of 0-0.
