Oregon High School Softball - Douglas can't hold off Astoria
March 29, 2024: Winston, OR 97496 The Astoria Fishermen softball team scored 2 runs and limited the host Douglas Trojans to 1 in the Fishermen non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Astoria moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Fishermen travel to Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, March 29. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 30. Douglas will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Pirates come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Crook County (Prineville, OR).
