Alabama High School Softball - Hazel Green bounces Columbia
March 29, 2024: Huntsville, AL 35806 The Hazel Green Trojans routed the host Columbia Eagles softball squad by a final score of 18-0 in Friday's league battle.
The Trojans (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhorn (New Market, AL). The Bucks go into the non-league battle with a 12-11 record. In their last battle, Buckhorn was routed by Brooks (Killen, AL), 6-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Athens for a 6A Area 16 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Columbia will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 17-3 non-league win over DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
