Kentucky High School Softball - Dixie Heights bounces Lloyd Memorial
March 29, 2024: Edgewood, KY 41017 Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY), 13-2 in a league challenge.
The Colonels now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Great Crossing for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. Dixie Heights will face a squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Lloyd Memorial falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Juggernauts travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Bellevue won 29-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Holmes (Covington, KY)
