Arkansas High School Softball - Green Forest bounces Omaha
March 29, 2024: Green Forest, AR 72638 Green Forest Tigers (Green Forest, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Omaha Eagles (Omaha, AR), 20-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkins for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Monday, April 1. Green Forest will battle a Elks squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Springdale (Springdale, AR). The Elks record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Omaha falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Jasper (Jasper, AR) to battle the Pirates in a 1A Region 1 East challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Jasper lost 20-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hector (Hector, AR)
