In Friday's non-league contest, the Munster Mustangs (Munster, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), by a margin of 12-2.

With the triumph, Munster moves its record to 2-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to play the Fighting 59ers in a Northwest Crossroads contest on Tuesday, April 2. The Fighting 59ers come into the contest with a record of 7-1.
