Arkansas High School Softball - Two Rivers bounces Western Yell County
March 29, 2024: Ola, AR 72853 Two Rivers Gators (Ola, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Gators now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cossatot River for a 3A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Two Rivers will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-7 league loss to Paris (Paris, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Western Yell County falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Westside (Coal Hill, AR) to face the Rebels in a 2A Region 4 game on Monday, April 1. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 1-4. Westside won 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Mulberry (Mulberry, AR)
