The Smithville Smithies baseball squad (Smithville, OH), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Manchester Panthers (Akron, OH)

With the triumph, Manchester moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Triway (Wooster, OH) to confront the Titans in a Principals contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 0-1.

The Smithies now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dalton for a Wayne County Athletic contest on Monday, March 31. Smithville will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-1.
