Texas High School Baseball - Midway defeats New Braunfels
March 29, 2025: Waco, TX 76712 The Midway Panthers (Waco, TX) baseball trounced the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns (New Braunfels, TX), 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Killeen for a 5A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, April 4. Midway will clash with a Kangaroos team coming off a 19-0 league loss to Temple (Temple, TX). The Kangaroos record now stands at 3-15.
With the defeat, New Braunfels drops to 17-3 on the year. The Unicorns travel to Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to clash with the Rangers in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Rangers go into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Smithson Valley won 10-8 in their recent league challenge against Pieper (San Antonio, TX)
