March 29, 2025: Shady Spring, WV 25918 The Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Shady Spring Tigers to 4 in the Flying Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Flying Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Washington for a Mountain State test on Monday, March 31. Woodrow Wilson will play a Patriots team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Shady Spring drops to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Hoover (Clendenin, WV) to play the Huskies in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 3-3. Hoover lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV)
