In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Edison Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Menlo-Atherton Bears.

The Vikings (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Stockton, CA). The Yellowjackets come into the San Joaquin Athletic challenge with a 4-18 record. In their last challenge, Franklin was beaten by Ripon (Ripon, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
