March 29, 2025: Salem, IL 62881 The Monticello Sages soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Salem Wildcats to 0 in the Sages non-league victory on Saturday.
The Sages now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league bout on Monday, March 31. Monticello will play a Braves squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Braves record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Salem moves to 1-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mater Dei (Breese, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, March 31. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Mater Dei lost 5-1 in their recent non-league bout against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL)
