In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting North Union Wildcats softball team scored a tight 10-4 win over the Elgin Comets.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH). The Eagles come into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Bishop Watterson nipped Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), 14-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Comets confront the Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. Elgin will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Barons come into the match with a 0-2 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH).
