Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), 18-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hozho Academy improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Wolves host Thoreau (Thoreau, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 1-3. Thoreau lost 29-6 in their recent non-league game against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM)

The Chieftains now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Tohatchi for a non-league game on Monday, March 31.
