With the triumph, Walnut Ridge improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bobcats host Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR) to face the Thunderbirds in a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. The Thunderbirds enter the contest with a record of 4-6. Cross County won 18-1 in their recent non-league contest against Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR)
The Rattlers now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Scranton for a 1A Region 4 contest on Tuesday, April 1. Magazine will face a Rockets squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR). The Rockets record now stands at 7-1.
