Georgia High School Soccer - Gilmer overwhelmed by Pickens
March 30, 2021: Jasper, GA 30143 The Pickens Dragons smashed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats soccer squad by a margin of 9-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Dragons now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sonoraville for a non-league match on Thursday, April 1. Pickens will encounter a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Gilmer drops to 5-1 on the season. The Bobcats host West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to encounter the Spartans in a AAA Region 7 match on Friday, April 2. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 4-5. West Hall won 4-0 in their recent league game against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)
