Georgia High School Soccer - Oconee County knocks off Monroe Area
March 30, 2021: Monroe, GA 30656 Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Monroe Area Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), 4-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors face the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 2. Oconee County will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).
The Hurricanes now have a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Putnam County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 14. Monroe Area will face a War Eagles team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Morgan County (Madison, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
