The Pioneers (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles go into the 6A Desert Valley battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, O'Connor was edged by Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ), 8-7, in a league battle.

The Firebirds now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Mountain Ridge for a 6A Desert Valley battle on Thursday, April 1. Chaparral will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 19-8 league loss to Liberty (Peoria, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-3.
