North Carolina High School Softball - Providence bounces Cox Mill
March 30, 2022: Concord, NC 28027 Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a Southwestern 4A challenge on Friday, April 1. Providence will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 18-4 league loss to Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Cox Mill falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Blue Devils in a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. Mooresville won 11-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)
