March 30, 2023: Hugo, OK 74743 The Durant Lions crushed the host Hugo Buffaloes baseball team by a tally of 9-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Lions now hold a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they host Amber-Pocasset for a non-league bout on Friday, March 31. Durant will face a Panthers team coming off a 15-11 non-league win over Heavener (Heavener, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 9-3.
Next, the Buffaloes face the Atoka Wampus Cats (Atoka, OK) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Hugo will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Wampus Cats enter the bout with a 10-7 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK).
