In Thursday's non-league challenge, the IMG Academy Royal Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) baseball squad edged the host Riverview Sarasota Rams (Sarasota, FL), by a final score of 1-0.

With the win, IMG Academy Royal upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Ascenders host Mater Academy Charter (Hialeah Gardens, FL) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
