March 30, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle smashed the visiting Laney Buccaneers soccer squad by a margin of 4-0 in Thursday's league match.
The Screaming Eagle now sport a 10-0 record. They play next when they host Ardrey Kell for a non-league match on Saturday, April 1. Ashley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Laney drops to 7-4 on the season. The Buccaneers host North Brunswick (Leland, NC) to encounter the Scorpions in a Mideastern 3A/4A match on Monday, April 3.
