South Carolina High School Soccer - Aiken knocks off Mid-Carolina
March 30, 2023: Prosperity, SC 29127 Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Green Hornets confront the North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, April 11. Aiken will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lakeside (Evans, GA).
The Rebels now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Newberry for a test on Tuesday, April 11. Mid-Carolina will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Saluda (Saluda, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
