In Thursday's league contest, the Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), by a count of 13-3.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Pinecrest will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC).

The Colts now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Cedar Ridge for a non-league contest on Monday, April 3. Cape Fear will confront a Fighting Red Wolves squad coming off a 14-1 league loss to Williams (Burlington, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves record now stands at 0-7.
