March 30, 2023: Junction City, KS 66441 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Junction City/St. Xavier Bluejays (Junction City, KS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Southeast Golden Buffalo (Wichita, KS), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Junction City/St. Xavier moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Bluejays host Emporia (Emporia, KS) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Friday, April 7. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 1-1. Emporia lost 14-0 in their recent non-league contest against Washburn Rural (Topeka, KS)
In their next game, the Golden Buffalo play the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 4. Southeast will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 18-13 non-league win over Andover (Andover, KS).
