Spectators at Saturday's league battle between the Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS) and the visiting Southaven Chargers (Southaven, MS), saw Hernando's baseball squad edge Southaven by a count of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS) in a 7A Region 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Hernando will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 14-7 record after their 5-4 league win over Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
