Kentucky High School Baseball - Trinity holds off Ryle
March 30, 2024: Union, KY 41091 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) and the host Ryle Raiders (Union, KY), saw Trinity's baseball squad knock off Ryle by a count of 6-2.
Coming up next, the Shamrocks play the Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 3. Trinity will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the battle with a 2-4 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL).
The Raiders now possess a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Conner for a District 33 battle on Tuesday, April 2. Ryle will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Frederick Douglass (Lexington, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.
