In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Downey Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Patterson Tigers.

The Knights (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Ripon achieved victory over Livingston (Livingston, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.
