California High School Volleyball - Downey tips Ripon

March 30, 2024: Ripon, CA 95366

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Downey Knights (Modesto, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Knights face the Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 30. Downey will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Marauders go into the contest with a 16-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA).

With the loss, Ripon moves to 14-8 on the year. The Indians host Central Valley (Ceres, CA) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, April 1. The Hawks go into the contest with a record of 5-11. Central Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Atwater (Atwater, CA)
