Illinois High School Softball - Geneseo bounces Rock Falls
March 30, 2024: Geneseo, IL 61254 Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Maple Leafs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Galesburg for a challenge on Thursday, April 4. Geneseo will battle a Silver Streaks squad coming off a 13-4 league loss to East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Rock Falls falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rockets host Winnebago (Winnebago, IL) to battle the Indians in a challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
