Washington High School Soccer - Meridian knocks off Sultan
March 30, 2024: Bellingham, WA 98226 Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Trojans confront the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Monday, April 8. Meridian will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Lyncs enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-2 league Blaine (Blaine, WA).
The Turks now possess a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bush for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5. Sultan will confront a Blazers team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Northwest (Seattle, WA). The Blazers record now stands at 4-1.
