Washington High School Softball - Republic bounces Curlew
March 30, 2024: Curlew, WA 99118 Republic Tigers (Republic, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Curlew Cougars (Curlew, WA), 27-20 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Oroville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Republic will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 22-4 league loss to Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Curlew falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Almira-Coulee-Hartline (Coulee City, WA) to battle the Warriors in a 1B Northeast challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Almira-Coulee-Hartline won 12-3 in their recent league challenge against Wilbur-Creston-Keller (Creston, WA)
