Washington High School Softball - Lakeside can't get by Hoquiam
March 30, 2024: Nine Mile Falls, WA 99026 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Hoquiam Grizzlies (Hoquiam, WA) softball team held off the host Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA), by a margin of 12-11.
With the triumph, Hoquiam moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Ilwaco (Ilwaco, WA) to play the Fishermen in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 2. The Fishermen come into the contest with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Deer Park Stags (Deer Park, WA) in a 1A Northeast contest, on Monday, April 8. Lakeside will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Stags come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 14-10 league win over Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA).
