The Sumner Cowboys softball squad scored 13 runs and restricted the visiting Episcopal Knights to 3 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Monday.

Next, the Cowboys meet the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) in a 3A District 8 test, on Tuesday, March 31. Sumner will attempt to upgrade on its 14-12 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 6-9 record after their 15-4 non-league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA).
