In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ), by a margin of 13-7.

With the triumph, Desert Mountain moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Wolves host Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Huskies in a 5A Northeast Valley contest on Thursday, April 1. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Horizon lost 15-14 in their recent league contest against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ)
